If you have recently traced your ancestry, you're probably really excited to share all of your interesting findings with the rest of your relatives.  There are several different ways that you can do this that you can take all of your fantastic family research and put it down on paper for you and your family to enjoy by making genealogy charts for you and your family.

                If you aren't exactly sure how to make geneology charts by hand, you can search online to find several different pre-printed templates that will make it easy to create a family tree.  These different templates can range from beautiful and elaborate to very basic and simple.  You can find these charts at different stores, I've even seen them at Target, or you can buy online.  I recommend looking online because you can find a greater variety than what you can find in the stores.  This will allow you to find something that really suits your family.

                If you are wonderfully creative, try making your geneology charts by hand.  There is nothing more beautiful than a hand drawn genealogy chart.  Your family will probably be thrilled that you've taken the time to make it special.  The great thing about hand drawing your chart is that it allows you to really personalize it.  If you don't have a lot of extra time then this may not be the project for you if you have an exceptionally large family.  Keep in mind that this is some special so you'll need to be meticulous about it.

                If you don't have the time to hand draw your own geneology charts you can have really beautiful  designer charts made.  You can usually find artists and even calligraphers that will do family  trees with beautiful designs and even embroidery and fancy letters and special surfaces.  Just remember that this type of work doesn't come cheap.  If you have a large family, expect to pay over $1000 dollars in some cases if you're looking for an artist to do something unusual like paint out your family tree using watercolors or oils. 

                While there are several different options for creating geneology charts just remember to do your best to personalize it in whatever way you can.  The chart is representative of who you are and where you have come from.  You've taken the time to do the research so do the same with the chart.  Believe me, you'll thank me later.
